Kultura: Euskara Klaseak/Basque Lessons
Academic year 2007-2008
We have moved the lessons from the London Metropolitan University to Oxford House. For details on Oxford House's address, please check our "Contact us" page in the "About the Society" section or find it at the bottom of the right-navigation box we offer on this Web site.
In order to improve the quality of the lessons, and after listening to some of your suggestions, there will be 2 groups this year:
- Beginners:
Saturday from 2.30 pm till 5.30 pm. Oxford house.
- Advanced:
Tuesday from 6.00 pm till 9.00 pm. Oxford house.
The fees remain the same. You can join the lessons at anytime and if you wish to do so, just get in touch with us and we will send you all the updated information about this academic year 2007-2008 as well as details about how to join. If you are not sure about your level, please contact us. If necessary, we might arrange an informal meeting with the teacher and he will be able to advice you.
Fees /Prezioak £80 members - £90 non-members
The fee is £90 for 10 weeks if not a member of the Basque Society. £80 for 10 weeks if member of Basque Society.
Academic year 2006-2007
One more year the Basque lessons were held at Calcutta House and we were rather fortunate to have Dani as the new teacher. Dani, with his broad knowledge of the Basque language as a Basque native speaker, experienced qualified teacher and also as an active member of AEK and the Society, led the students throughout the year into the wonderful and ever interesting world of learning Euskara. If that were not enough, Dani's friendly and agreeable personality, and we know that first-hand, made of the lessons a really joyful and interesting activity. In the end, the general feeling amongst the students was that of a great satisfaction for the positive work carried out all along the year. Sadly, for professional reasons Dani had to return to the Basque country. We wish him and Ana all the best and we will always be glad to have them around in London once more. Eskerrik asko Dani...eta ondo segi!!!

Euskara klaseak, ostegunero, urriaren 6tik 2005 aurrera, arratsaldeko 6tatik 9ak arte.
The Basque lessons will start on Thursday October 6th 2005, from 6pm till 9pm.
